Editor's Letter December 2011

Dear Reader,

Can you believe that we are already in December and that the Silly Season is nearly upon us? Tum2Mom has been hard at work putting together some essential reading material to help you plan what to do on your holiday, including safety tips and we have 31 wonderful budget-friendly play activities that will make sure you don’t hear the following words ‘I’m sooo bored’!

This month we take a look at disability as well as the impact HIV/AIDS has on South African children.

Tum2Mom chats to Michelle, a single Mom who had to learn to learn to live and parent with a disability. Our latest Medical A-Z article deals with GORD - Gastro-Oesophageal Reflux Disease.

Don’t forget Sister Elizabeth will be giving a talk on Introducing Solids on the 7th December. Book now as seats are limited.

Tum2Mom would like to wish all our families a Merry Christmas. If this is your first holiday season as a family, may it be memorable and extra special.

LIKE us on Facebook to get baby name suggestions and inspiring parenting quotes. We would love to see photos of your adorable little one’s all dressed up for Christmas. Please load them onto Facebook.

Yours in parenting,

Janine & Elizabeth
