Subscribing to the Immunisation Email Reminder Service (IERS) is a quick and pain-free process.

You will be reminded to take your little one for his vaccinations according to the national private immunisation schedule used by most paediatricians and private well baby clinics in South Africa. The emails are sent out according to the age of your baby. The emails;

  • Remind you to take your little one in for his/her vaccinations
  • Give you more information about the vaccination
  • List possible side effects
  • Offers tips to soothe baby during and after the jab.

There are 8 emails in the series. The first email is sent when your baby is a newborn. It is sent out with a printable PDF of the National Private Immunisation Schedule from 0 – 12 Months. The subsequent emails are sent out when your baby is 6 weeks, 8 weeks, 14 weeks, 9 months, 12 months (this email is sent out with the National Private Immunisation Schedule from 12 Months to 12 years of age), 15 months and 18 months.

You need to subscribe to the IERS once. The information collected is solely for the use of the IERS. The reminder service will automatically stop once your child reaches 18 months of age.

  • Pay via PayFast or make an Offline Payment
  • Once payment is received follow the instructions in the welcome email
  • Fill in your details online
